New Members
Welcome to WRGW! We are thrilled that you want to join, but before you do, there are a few things you need to do first. Typically, WRGW requires DJ to spend a semester "interning" on a show.
Here's how to get started:
- First, read through the WRGW District Radio DJ Manual. This manual goes over station policy, FAA rules and guidelines, as well as some pointers on how to use the equipment.
- Complete the DJ Qualification Exam. You can reference the WRGW District Radio DJ Manual to answer all of the questions and make sure to answer in full sentences. You must submit this online before you show up to the training.
- Show up to one of our training sessions. You will learn how to use the equipment as well as on-air etiquette for when you have a show. When you come to your training session, please bring the following three forms with you:
- WRGW Policy Acknowledgement Form
- WRGW On-Air Agreement
- WRGW Equipment and Station Property Agreement
- Finally, when all of your paperwork is turned in and your training is completed, you will be assigned a show to intern on!
